About Justin

Heya. 🙂 My name is Justin Gregory Robert Currie (born Sept 11, 1986). I grew up on a small farm outside the village of La Riviere (Manitoba, Canada). Throughout most of my schooling, constant doodling on every piece of paper that came within reach was a bit of a problem. To teachers’ dismay, the habit worsened as time went on. Upon graduation from high school, I moved into the city of Winnipeg to begin Red River’s graphic design program where I dived into such subjects as logo design, typography, web development, flash animation, print production, etc. Graphic design really taught me how to function as a professional Illustrator, and before long, I was waist deep in freelance illustration, every Comic Convention artist alley I could sign up to, and a growing library of published children books.
